Unhooked Academy

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Unhooked Academy (“the Academy,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By joining the Academy, purchasing a product, or using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Program Description
Unhooked Academy provides online education, coaching, and community support focused on reducing compulsive behaviors and improving overall well-being. The program includes course content, live group coaching sessions, email communication, and access to a member community hosted on Skool.
Unhooked Academy is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and participation does not create a therapist-client relationship.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to join the Academy. By participating, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are joining voluntarily.
3. Payments and Billing
All payments are processed through Stripe. When you enroll, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the program or subscription you selected. Prices may change in the future, but any changes will apply only to new members or future renewals.
Payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise on a specific offer or sales page. If a refund policy applies, it will be clearly advertised at the time of purchase.
If your payment fails or your subscription lapses, your access to the Academy may be paused or terminated at our discretion.
4. Membership Access
Access to the Academy is provided for the duration of your membership or payment plan. If you cancel or fail to complete payments, access may be revoked.
You agree not to share your login information, screenshots of member content, or course materials with non-members.
We reserve the right to update, add, or remove course modules, features, or community elements as needed to improve the program.
5. Community Guidelines
Members are expected to engage respectfully and maintain a supportive environment. This includes being honest, maintaining confidentiality about what other members share, and communicating in good faith.
We reserve the right to remove any member whose behavior disrupts the community or violates the safety, trust, or well-being of others. Removal may occur without refund in cases of harassment, abuse, or serious misconduct.
6. Confidentiality and Sensitive Topics
The Academy addresses sensitive topics related to sexual habits and compulsive behavior. Members are responsible for choosing what they feel comfortable sharing.
We treat all information shared with us privately with confidentiality, except where required by law. However, we cannot guarantee the behavior of other members and do not control their actions. Members are encouraged to practice discretion when sharing personal information inside the community.
Group coaching calls are not recorded. You agree to participate with respect for your own boundaries and the boundaries of others.
7. Testimonials and Success Stories
If you choose to provide a testimonial, you grant us permission to use it for marketing or educational purposes. We will never share a testimonial without explicit consent, and identifying details may be removed if requested.
8. Intellectual Property
All course content, written materials, videos, lessons, frameworks, and branding are the property of Unhooked Academy or its creator, Jeremy Lipkowitz.
You agree not to reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly share any Academy content without written permission.
9. Coaching Disclaimer
Coaching is designed to support personal growth and behavioral change, but no specific results are guaranteed. You are responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes inside or outside the program.
Nothing in the Academy should be interpreted as medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
10. Technology and Platform Use
The Academy is hosted on Skool. Emails, onboarding, and sales pages are managed through Kajabi. Applications are collected through Typeform. Payments are processed by Stripe.
These platforms may occasionally experience downtime or technical issues. We are not responsible for platform outages or any data loss caused by third-party services.
11. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion in situations including, but not limited to, violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, harassment of members or staff, or misuse of content.
Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless explicitly stated in a specific offer.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update or revise these Terms as needed. The most recent version will always be available on our website, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the most current changes.
Your continued use of the Academy after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unhooked Academy and its creator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that arise from your participation, including decisions you make, actions you take, or outcomes in your personal or professional life.
Your participation is voluntary, and you assume full responsibility for your choices.
